On a cool summers evening a 58 strong contingent of Nursery & Garden Centre Association members gathered at Woodlands Gardens in Gordonton, Hamilton to celebrate Christmas and to look forward to the year ahead.

Members were able to go for a walk around the very impressive gardens of the Woodlands Estate before enjoying pre dinner drinks and hearing Peter Fraser, NGIA President, talk about the restructuring of the NGIA Wellington office.

This was followed by the call for a new committee to be formed to run the Waikato District of NGIA. Eight names were put forward and the very enthusiastic new committee will meet in the New Year to elect positions and to plan the year ahead.

A sumptuous Christmas Dinner was enjoyed by all!
